Sketch-time

Back to my time at the Charles Reid workshop and a
quick sketch I did of him while he was working his magic.
I had this view quite a few times during the week and made
some other sketches as well. It all adds up to practice and
a model who is in the same pose (even though he's working).

Must've been wonderful--I love his work. I have several of his videos, which I suppose is the next best thing, but I imagine his workshops must be the best. This is great, Annelein!

Neat, Annelein! I would love to see you paint this one. Also, I like your DSFDF challenge painting. You are so prolific.

I put a painting on my blog that I did the day after the peonies workshop of irises. I sat out in sunshine (rare beast) in the garden and painted the Irises trying to use some of the techniques you shared with us.

What a great (and incredibly difficult) way to do a portrait of an artist!
