Gazin' at the Market

This painting was done from a photo of Stargazers in bundles at a farmer's market. I added extra buds because I like their shape, especially against the dark background. The two buckets on the right are a little stiff, but maybe they bring some calm against the flurry of chaotic blooms that burst right out of the picture plane into your face..

I love the glorious blooms against the angles to the right--gorgeous, Annelein!

I really like all the buds in the background....can you imagine what awaits you when they all open up!!!
Gives a real feeling of anticipation as I look at this.

I rather like the buckets, especially with the fine spray of tiny blue flowers. So pretty!
